Back from the VTR, Downtown Bruno refuses Jarrett’s offer, which brings out Jerry Lawler. Lawler offers to double the money on the offer making it $10,000. Eddie Marlin, acting as Jarrett’s grandfather rather than a match maker attempts to squash the offer but Lawler talks him into allowing it. Bruno finally accepts on behalf of his team and the match is set. Jarrettvs. Tanaka & Diamond in a 10 min. time limit. If Bruno’s team wins within 10mins, they get $10,000, but if Jarrett wins or lasts the full 10 minutes then Billy Travis is reinstated. Lawler announces he will be at ringside to make sure Bruno’s boys play by the rules.

Barnes & Johnson start a shoving match while Dundee attempts to break it up. Dundee finally calms Rocky who extends his hand to Barnes but George doesn’t return the favor.)

Don Bass is also in the mix. I think this is the first time Goliath actually speaks after nearly a year, at least since his initial debut. Brown then brings out the newest member of the Commision, "King" Carl Fergie. Brown claims Fergie is real royalty as opposed to Lawler. Out last is "Superstar" Bubba, who comes out in a multicolor singlet and does his best job at break dancing or whatever you want to call it. Regardless, it is quite the site.)

Rock & Roll RPM’s interview (The RPM’s want the Southern belts back from the Rockers. Tommy Lane offers to put up a diamond ring for a title shot. This brings out the Rockers who get the ring pawned by a jeweler who just happens to be backstage. The jeweler agrees the ring is worth at least $1,000. Michaels takes jabs at Mike Davis’ missing teeth and the Rockers accept the challenge. If the Rockers win the match they promise to hand the ring to someone in the crowd.)

Lance Russell interviews the Rock & Roll RPM’s in the parking lot with their Lincoln Continental. Davis claims if the Rockers win, they will destroy the car with bats. Kind of defeats the purpose of the match doesn’t it?

When Eddie asks for the belt, Jimmy Jack clobbers Marlin with the title belt then hangs Jeff with a noose upside down in the corner. It was really a great angle.

Eventually the Mexican Conn. Get Dundee on the floor and grind a Jalapeno pepper into Dundee’s eye.)

Steve Keirn Interview (Keirn wants an "unbiased opinion" on if what he did to Lawler was right after the King accidentally threw a fireball at him. Keirn calls out Jeff Jarrett for his opinion on the situation. Jarrett informs Keirn that he feels Steve is in the wrong and that Lawler didn’t mean to hurt Keirn. Meanwhile Jimmy Jack Funk makes his way out during this discussion to pick a fight with Jeff. Keirn dislikes what he hears but lets Jarrett waklk off. Funk has other ideas as he attacks Jarrett and pounds on him. Keirn claims he isn’t helping Jarrett because he is minding his own business. That is until The King comes out to aid Jarrett, then Keitn hits the ring to attack Lawler. Jerry fights Funk & Keirn off after throwing a fireball in the face of Jimmy Jack.

Southern Champion Bobby Jaggers (w/Nate the Rat) vs. Jerry Lawler (Lawler regains the title but is quickly attacked by Keirn, Funk & Jaggers. Jarrett finally makes the save along with a 2x4.)

Teijho Khan (w/Guleen) vs. Freezer Thompson

Mark Guleen Interview (Guleen puts over the Midnight Rockers and offers them a $5,000 bonus if they sign with him. The Rockers come out and turn Guleen down. Shawn Michaels then asks for $15,000 a piece. Guleen wants to meet them half way with $10,000 a piece. This brings out Jerry Lawler who attempts to persuade the Rockers not to fall for Guleen’s nonsense. Shawn rudely sends Lawler away basically telling him to mind his own business. Michaels promises the Rockers will sign the contract if Guleen presents the money next week.)

Local Promo: Interview w/Manny Fernandez (Manny talks about all three singles titles being unified to create the CWA Heavyweight Title.)

Eddie Marlin Interview (Marlin announces he will be unifying all three singles titles. Marlin plans to draw all three champions names out of the hat. The first two names will meet each other with the winner going on to face name #3 who will receive a bye into the second match. Marlin first pulls the name of Southern Champ Lawler. It is then decided Lawler will be facing Mid-America Champion Jeff Jarrett. The winner of the Lawler/Jarrett match meets International champion Manny Fernandez.)

This brings out Guleen & the Rockers to add to the conversation. A shoving match ensues by the ex-friends but it is broken up and the Nasty Boys are ushered to the back. Shawn Michaels then shows off his cash he was presented by Guleen and slips Lance Russell a 10 spot for a new suit. Shawn is really showing some good heel promo skills back in 87, I was a bit surprised how well he played the part.)

VTR: Randy Hales interviews Bill Dundee who has decided to open a wrestling school. Dundee shows off his school and claims he’s just trying to give back to the sport. Somehow I’d imagine it was more about money since the houses were down.

Bill Dundee Interview (Mark Guleen confronts Dundee. Guleen challenges Dundee to take on Teijho Khan)

Bill Dundee vs. Teijho Khan (w/Mark Guleen) (There is no referee for this impromptu match. Guleen distracts Dundee to allow Khan to choke out the Superstar. Hector Guerrero comes out and breaks up Teijho from attacking Dundde. This is only momentarily as Hector himself then pounds on Bill with the help of Teijho.)
