1.           Backstage footage of the celebration following Hulk Hogan winning the WWF Title from the Iron Sheik

2.           Iron Sheik v. Ken Jugan (As the Shiek is preparing for his match, SGT. SLAUGHTER comes out!  The two confront each other in the ring but the referee separates them.  The former heel Slaughter is quickly becoming a huge babyface by opposing the hated Shiek..  After the match, Slaughter completes his face turn by grabbing the microphone and badmouths the Sheik and his manager “Ayatollah” Fred Blassie and gives a passionate USA speech, getting the crowd extremely excited.  A match is signed between Shiek and Slaughter for next week.)

3.          Piper’s Pit?  YOU BETCHA!  Gene Okerlund is at the set of Pipers Pit and recaps the single greatest segment of  Pipers Pit  of all time.  .Jimmy Snuka is guest star on an earlier un-aired episode and after being relentlessly insulted by Piper, IS ATTACKED BY PIPER!  Piper nails Snuka in the head with a coconut and smears a banana in his face, and totally DESTROYS the Pipers Pit set in the  process!  This had to be the single greatest interview segment that’s ever aired!

Rudy Diamond (Before the match can begin, Rudy leaves the ring and goes to the back.  He returns with a shirt that says “PAULA” on the front!  Orndorff has been bombarded with “Paula” chants for weeks now, and goes ABSOLUTELY NUTS!  Needless to say, Ol’ Rudy takes the worst beating he’s ever had in his life.)

11.       Int – Okerlund interviews Orndorff immediately after the match on the Piper’s Pit set.  Orndorff actually had to be bleeped out!

12.       Int – Roddy Piper

13.       Piper’s Pit – FOR REAL THIS TIME!  Piper FINALLY gets Cyndi Lauper on the se.  Piper starts out being nice, but brings up the subject of Lou Albano, believing him to be her manager.  Cyndi tries to set the record straight, but Albano himself comes out and tries to coerce Lauper into backing up his story.  Lauper doesn’t go for it, and after a few words get said, ATTACKS BOTH ALBANO AND PIPER!  This was the catalyst for the “Rock & Wrestling Connection”, as the WWF and the fledgling MTV would kick the concept of “Sports Entertainment into high gear, culminating with the first Wrestlemania.

7.          Roddy Piper announces that Capt. Lou Albano has chosen his wrestler for Cyndi Lauper’s challenge.  It’s The current WWF Ladies champion, THE FABULOUS MOOLAH!  Lou and Moolah promise to hurt both Lauper and whoever she picks to fight Moolah.

8.          Lauper announces that she’s picked WENDY RICHTER.  Richter was last seen on WWF TV on 5/5/84 , and wasn’t made to look like anything special.  Now, Richter sports a very impressive physique and spiked hair.  Richter is supposed to be the next generation of female wrestler.

The Samoans (in progress from the Philly Spectrum.  Fuji repeatedly refuses to tag into the match, and then walks away, leaving Lee to get destroyed by the Samoans, who of course win the match.  Afterward, Fuji returns to the ring and attacks Lee!  Lee manages to run Fuji off though.

1.           Capt. Lou Albano reads a pretty funny Christmas story to some children.  Albano doesn’t seem to be as much of a heel as he had in recent weeks.  Last week, he wasn’t so heelish on Pipers Pit either.  Is there a face change coming for the Captain? Well, If you listen to his story, you can see that this may be definitely the case, as Lou appears to be vowing to make a new start In 1985.

Jose Luis Rivera & Jim Powers (Hulk Hogan comes out to ringside before the match starts and poses for the crowd before walking to the back.  After the match, Studd and Patera keep beating up their opponents, but Hulk Hogan returns and attacks the heels.  After some double teaming, it looks like Studd and Patera are going to cut Hogan’s hair like they did Andre the Giant, but BIG JIM STORMS THE RING!  The big hillbilly helps run off the heels and Hogan raises his hand in victory.)
